OOTD: Summer-to-Fall

Banana Republic Top // Lilly Pulitzer Murfee Scarf (no longer available)
American Eagle Jeans // Jack Rogers

Here in the Bluegrass it's getting just a little colder and we are slowly approaching fall. While my favorite part of fall may be the outfits better suited for the weather, I want to squeeze every minute out of summer that I can. Today's outfit is perfect for those in-between days during the transition from summer to fall.

I started with a basic white V-neck in a size up from my normal that I'm actually obsessed with. A medium/light wash from American Eagle keeps it summer-y with the light wash but still lets me wear jeans. I stuck with Jacks because I am not ready to let go of my summertime staple. Then I topped it off with my monogram necklace which has barely left my neck in the few weeks I've had it. I would wear just this outfit alone on a regular basis but why not add a little color?

My After-Party Sale goodies finally came in and I'm so excited. Your regular Murfee Scarf ($118) for $29?! I got mine in possibly my all-time second favorite print Mai Tai which looks great here. The colors, depending on what you wear it with, can be summery or fall. This is my first Murfee and I know come the next After-Party Sale I will be getting more.

For my hair a did a simple fishtail braid. I love these and wear them all the time to get my hair out of my face. They're super versatile depending on what you pair them with and are super easy to do. As far as makeup goes my Naked 3 is a little more fall but some gold shades stayed geared towards warm weather.

Fall is my favorite season, and I'm so glad it's here. Hand me my pumpkin muffin and hot cider, because the cold weather is coming and bringing sweaters and boots with it.
